FedEx has officially launched a new air route linking Incheon (South Korea) – Hanoi (Vietnam) – Guangzhou (China). The route operates weekly on Mondays, departing from Incheon International Airport (ICN), transiting via Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), before arriving at FedEx’s Asia-Pacific hub in Guangzhou.
Key Benefits
- The new route cuts transit time by about one day for shipments from northern Vietnam to Asia and Europe.
- Enhances reliability and shipping capacity for clients engaging in cross-border trade.
- In the backdrop of robust growth in the Asia-Pacific air cargo market, this move strengthens FedEx’s intra-Asia network.
Previously, FedEx also launched a direct route between South Korea and Taiwan to support e-commerce and component logistics.
According to Kawal Preet, President of FedEx Asia-Pacific: “Asia’s trade dynamics are evolving rapidly. We’re making strategic network investments to build stronger connectivity and unlock new growth opportunities.”
With these new daily and hourly shipping services, FedEx aims to optimize the supply chain for manufacturers and exporters, especially along key intra-Asia, Asia–Europe, and trans-Pacific trade lanes.
