Maersk Ground Freight launches a new facility in Coppell, Texas, expanding its TL and LTL freight network, boosting capacity, and strengthening its North American logistics presence.
Maersk Ground Freight, a subsidiary of A.P. Moller-Maersk, has launched a new facility in Coppell, Texas, USA.
The new site combines a pickup-and-delivery station with a trans-shipment hub, replacing the previous Irving site and expanding Maersk’s TL and LTL freight network in Texas.
Covering over 9,000 sqm and just 8 km from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the facility features 30 dock-high doors and two truck ramps — designed to handle thousands of shipments weekly and link with Maersk’s national network.
Beyond standard TL and LTL, Maersk Ground Freight offers retail delivery and premium “white-glove” services.
According to Gabe Alizieri, Director of Maersk Ground Freight, the new site boosts capacity and efficiency while providing a modern workspace for the Dallas team.
Maersk now operates 65 ground-freight facilities across the U.S., totaling over 278,000 sqm, all offering standard LTL services.
In North America, Maersk Logistics (North America) ranks 29th among the “Top 100 logistics companies”, while A.P. Moller-Maersk ranks 6th globally
