TCS Becomes Official Cargo Handling Partner for Turkish Airlines in Vietnam
On October 1, 2025, Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services (TCS) welcomed its first cargo flight from Turkish Cargo — the freight division of Turkish Airlines, officially becoming the airline’s cargo handling partner in Vietnam.
The partnership follows more than a year of negotiation (from July 2024 to August 20, 2025). Under the agreement, TCS manages the full spectrum of cargo handling operations — including special cargo, dangerous goods, and related logistics services.
TCS’s cargo terminal is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that meet international standards for safety and quality, certified by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This was a key factor in Turkish Airlines’ decision to select TCS as its strategic partner in Vietnam.
With an automated handling system, TCS enhances operational efficiency by reducing turnaround times and optimizing costs. Turkish Airlines’ representative office is located within the TCS terminal, enabling real-time coordination and flexibility in daily operations.
As a member of the Vietnam Airlines Group, TCS currently serves most international airlines operating at Tan Son Nhat Airport. This collaboration with Turkish Airlines not only expands TCS’s international cargo network but also strengthens Vietnam’s aviation logistics ecosystem.
Turkish Airlines operates to over 300 destinations in 120 countries, ranking among the world’s most connected airlines. According to Nguyen Thuan Dien, CEO of TCS, “This collaboration lays the groundwork for developing a modern air logistics hub, ready for the upcoming operation of Long Thanh International Airport.”
In the coming years, TCS will continue to invest in infrastructure, automation, and workforce development, ensuring service excellence and global competitiveness in the logistics sector.
